This 49-year-old patient desired breast enhancement surgery to reverse some breast changes due to her 3 pregnancies. After a careful examination and discussion, Dr. Steele recommended subglandular implant placement due to the lower position of the nipple/areolar complex on her breasts. The patient did not want the scars associated with a breast lift and she was able to avoid a lift by placing the implants on top of the muscle, directly behind the nipple. The patient was very pleased with her symmetry and upper pole fullness. Note the slight lifting effect on the nipple with the high profile implant placed above the muscle.
