Call Us Today to Get Started

Even with a healthy diet and regular exercise regimen, both men and women can be left with stubborn fat deposits and areas of loose skin due to aging, genetics, sun damage, or weight loss. Traditional body contouring procedures such as a Tummy Tuck or Brachioplasty (Arm Lift) can be successful at reshaping and tightening the skin, however, not everyone is ready to commit to such invasive procedures. And now with a BodyTite procedure in Fort Worth, not everyone needs these procedures for surgical-like results. BodyTite is a ground-breaking new technology that allows for near surgical results, with small incisions and minimal downtime.

If you are ready to learn more about how BodyTite can improve your look, request a consultation online with Dr. Steele, or call our office. We serve patients in Fort Worth, TX and surrounding communities and we welcome patients who wish to travel from outside the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Benefits of BodyTite

BodyTite uses innovative technology to apply radiofrequency energy waves internally and externally. The external tissue heating causes dermal tightening and contraction, resulting in improved skin contour and tightness. The internal tissue heating results in lipolysis (busting of fat cells) and tightening of the underlying collagen network. The ruptured fat is then removed with liposuction. As a result of this combination, you are left with improved body contour with tighter skin and only a few small incisions instead of traditional longer scars. BodyTite provides effective body contouring and skin tightening for the following areas:

BodyTite Technique

BodyTite is typically combined with Liposuction for optimal contouring and is performed in the office using local anesthesia with mild sedation (Valium and Nitrous Oxide, laughing gas). Through small incisions, Dr. Steele will place tumescent solution containing salt water and lidocaine/epinephrine into the areas to be treated. The tumescent solution provides turgor (firmness) to the tissues, lidocaine provides pain relief, and the epinephrine (adrenaline) shrinks the blood vessels to minimize bleeding. Once the tissues are numb, Dr. Steele uses the BodyTite handpiece to heat the tissues to a predetermined temperature that is optimal for melting fat and tightening the tissues, while minimizing risk of skin burns. After all of the areas have been treated with the radiofrequency energy, Dr. Steele will remove the excess fat using power assisted liposuction (PAL). Dr. Steele may also suggest the additional use of the Morpheus8 radiofrequency microneedling handpiece for additional skin contraction in areas with thin skin such as the inner arms, inner thighs, lower abdomen, and knees. The ablative Morpheus8 or Fractora tip may also be used to help diminish the presence of stretch marks.

During/After Surgery

The length of a local BodyTite surgery will vary depending on the number of areas to be treated. In some cases, your procedure may be staged to allow for optimal comfort and to minimize the risk of lidocaine toxicity (there is a safety limit based on your weight). Although you will notice some swelling and possibly some bruising, you will notice an improvement in your contour right away due to the fat reduction. It is very important to wear the compression garments for 6-8 weeks to encourage skin contraction and resolution of the swelling. Normal activity and sedentary work can be resumed within a few days. Cardio activity and heavy lifting should be limited for 3-4 weeks. It will take up to 3-6 months for all of the swelling to resolve. Additionally, with BodyTite, you will notice continued skin contraction for 6-12 months after the procedure.

Good Candidates for BodyTite

BodyTite is primarily designed for people who are close to their ideal BMI but need a little extra help getting their body to be contoured the way they like. Ideal candidates are those who have struggled to get rid of excess fat on the buttocks, arms, back, or hips with diet and exercise alone. If you desire improved contours without a highly invasive procedure and have realistic expectations, BodyTite is a good option for you.

How Much Does BodyTite Cost?

Since a BodyTite procedure is designed to fit the needs of each individual patient, the cost of the procedure will vary from person to person. We’ll assess the contours of your body and develop a treatment plan that’s tailored to your specific aesthetic goals. Once we have determined the ideal treatment plan for your body, we’ll talk to you about the cost of BodyTite.
