FaceTite is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure used to treat lose and aging skin. It is an innovative method that aims to tighten the skin non-aggressively without any injections or scars.

As a person ages, the skin begins to lose its elasticity and starts to sag. The areas around the eyes, lips, and cheeks are the first to exhibit loose skin and wrinkles. Plenty of cosmetic procedures are available to minimize the effects of aging. However, many people are apprehensive about such techniques due to their invasive and aggressive nature.

FaceTite is an excellent less invasive alternative to these treatments. It is able to tighten skin in a way that looks natural and understated.

Which Areas Can FaceTite Treat?

FaceTite is mainly used to target loose and baggy skin in the following areas:
• The corners of the eyes (to address crow’s feet)
• Eyelids and undereye bags
• Cheeks
• Chin
• Jawline
• Eyebrows

How It Works

A FaceTite procedure uses radiofrequency energy to bring the excess fat cells of the targeted areas to a specific temperature, which will destroy these fat cells. Once this has been conducted, the liquified fat cells are drained using special equipment.

The exposure of radiofrequency energy to the skin tissues boosts the production of collagen. This helps loose skin regain elasticity, producing a tighter and more youthful appearance.

FaceTite provides excellent results with minimal damage to the skin. The procedure does not result in scars, which is a common side effect of traditional cosmetic surgeries. This creates the illusion that no procedure has been performed.

The FaceTite Procedure

A consultation with Dr. Steele must be arranged before your FaceTite procedure can take place. After a thorough examination from Dr. Steele, he can clear you for treatment and the procedure can be scheduled.

FaceTite is an outpatient procedure and generally lasts for 1-2 hours. Dr. Steele administers local anesthesia, inserts a cannula, and uses this cannula to create radiofrequency energy, heating the fat cells. The liquified fat cells are suctioned out of the body using the cannula.

Aftercare

FaceTite aftercare is fairly straightforward. Patients can expect slight bruising and swelling in the treated regions due to cannula insertion and tissue reduction. All the swelling and bruising is expected to subside within a week of the procedure.

The doctor may prescribe medications if pain or irritation persists. Normal and routine activities can be resumed shortly after the procedure. Exercise can be done after a week.

The results are immediately visible to some extent, and the full results are seen as time passes and the level of collagen rises in the skin tissues.

The results achieved from a FaceTite procedure can last for about a year; many patients have reported that the results actually last up to a couple of years or more for them.

It is recommended for patients to come in for a touch-up procedure to prolong and sustain the effects.
