For those seeking to reverse signs of facial aging without undergoing surgery, getting Sculptra® at our Fort Worth office may be the solution you’ve been looking for. Sculptra® is a facial filler that can reverse the signs of aging by restoring lost volume and improving facial contours. This treatment can help correct sunken cheeks, contour deficiencies, hollow eyes, folds, and wrinkles with simple injections administered by our Licensed Aesthetician and Certified Injector, Jennifer Geyer.
Sculptra® is an FDA-approved dermal filler made up of Poly-L-Lactic acid, which is similar to resorbable suture material used in surgery. Injection of Sculptra® into the deeper facial tissues stimulates your body to produce collagen, resulting in improved volume and contour and may help improve the skin quality.

Sculptra® is also used for off-label procedures such as:
A Sculptra® treatment can be administered in our Fort Worth office. Jennifer will begin by removing make-up or lotions, sterilizing the areas, and applying a local anesthetic to minimize discomfort. Most treatments take between 30 and 60 minutes, and the injections are made with a small needle or cannula. Jennifer will use a “cross-hatch” technique to inject the Sculptra® filler into the skin’s deeper layers where it can better stimulate collagen production. After the injections, treatment areas are massaged to ensure even distribution of the filler. Patients can resume normal day-to-day activities after treatment, but Jennifer may advise against vigorous exercise for 24 hours afterward.
Sculptra® treatments are FDA-approved and generally safe, but as with all cosmetic procedures, there may be side effects such as swelling, redness, pain, bleeding, itching, or bruising around the injection sites. However, these side effects typically subside within one to two weeks.
Patients in overall good health who do not have any significant medical conditions and wish to reduce facial wrinkles and folds are good candidates for a Sculptra® treatment at our Fort Worth office. Since Sculptra® stimulates the immune system to create collagen, patients must also have a healthy immune system.
Because this filler essentially rebuilds the face’s underlying tissues by generating collagen, it offers results that last much longer than most other injectables. Results from a Sculptra® procedure can last for two years or more. For patients who may need future treatments, Sculptra® is still a good choice, as it offers longer-lasting results than many other injectable procedures.
If you would like to undergo a minimally-invasive procedure to reduce facial wrinkles, lines, and restore volume to your temples or cheeks, you may want to consider a Sculptra® treatment at our Fort Worth office.
