You will have some tenderness and achiness due to the inflammation that responds well to non-narcotic pain medications. You will be placed into a surgical compression garment that is worn for 6-8 weeks. Most patients can return to work in 2-4 days. You should avoid cardio or strenuous exercise for about 3 weeks.
